Домрина Елена: Thanks to Olympiade Eidos, I can practise my English. Interesting tasks and topics help me to develop my abilities as a young translator. Exercise number 3 really impressed me. It is very unusual. It was very hard for me to do Exercise number 4, because it is much more difficult to translate from Russian to English than from English to Russian. ‘‘Will make the world understandable‘’. I want to ask this question: ‘How to become a member of the organizing committee’?
Akininanastya: Hello! My name is Nastya Akinina, I'm 16 years old. I live in Voronezh and I study at the Lyceum No. 1 in 10"C". I have been learning English for 10 years. However, I assume that I make progress only the last four years. Nowadays, I suppose that I know English quite well, that's why I decided to take part in this competition. Ryabova Daria: Good day! My name is Ryabova Daria. I am studying in the 9th form at the 1st gymnasium, which is situated in Severomorsk. Our school is famous for the results of the teachers and students work, friendly atmosphere and high level of education. It gives us a good opportunity to acquire a serious knowledge of all subjects and we are able to pass the Unified State Exam successfully. As for me, my favourite subject at school is English because it will help to solve my professional problems in future. This language is useful and interesting, especially in our days. Moreover, it`s popular among young generation. So, I don`t want to brag, but my results in studying English are superb. Кунгурова Е.И.: My name is Ekaterina Kungurova. I study in 9th grade of gymnasium №1, Severomorsk city. I’ve taken part in some Olympiads before, such as the usual school one, last year I took the first place in it, this one, unfortunately, the second. Also last year I took the first place in city contest. But all this doesn’t really matter much compared to the way I feel about English as a language, as a lifestyle. My best achievement, I guess, is that I succeeded in making myself think in this beautiful language, that’s what I’d been aiming to for quite a long time. This Olympiad is definitely something new to me, what I’ve never done before. I used to do some translation for myself, but I have never had a chance to show it someone to check it. And I was so excited to know that this kind of competition exists. I’m sure it will be very interesting to see what I can do with it. Usually, my obstinacy and reluctance to give up help me in gaining my aims. And, of course, excitement, I can’t do something well if I’m not curios about it.

Андрей Мишутин: Hello, my name is Andrew Mishutin. I live in the town Severomorsk behind the Polar Circle. It’s neither big, nor small town with 75000 population. Though this fact, our town has some places of interest like submarine-museum K-21, monument to the defenders of the Polar Region called “Alesha” and the monument of the warplane. Each year we have school’s, our town’s and regional olianpiads of English, which I participate in. So, in the 2008 I won the 1st prize in the school’s olimpiad, in the 2010 I won the international contest “British Bulldog”, 2nd place in the school’s and our town’s competiton. In 2013 I became the winner of the school’s competition. As for me, this contest is very important for myself because I would like to know if I really good in English or not. I was told that it’s a difficult olimiad, but interesting. Of course, each person has his own ways how to achieve something, but as for me, I think that the thing that helps me to gain an aim is my character and the support of my friends and relatieves.

Третье задание было самое интересное для меня. А над четвёртым надо было попотеть. So I can introduce myself: Little Polly. I’m from the fantastic and wonderful country “Gymnasium №9” where I was given an opportunity to taste knowledge (it has sweet smack) and to understand how beautiful the Ocean of Desire to Create is. Now I have some experience (I study in the tenth form) and I wouldn’t be confused because of my English. I had to battle for the right of floating in the ocean and I have victories in these battles. Vall 1995: I think the best I was able to perform translation songs into English. This helped me a dictionary and Google translator! The most positive emotions have caused a job with a poem which deals with lazy people, but as problems of humanity! I have not experienced difficulties when executing the task! Полиночка: 1. I decided to participate in this competition, as decided to test their abilities. 2. I repeated all passed topics. 3. While doing it more and more interesting and exciting. 4. I think the best thing I got 2nd job because of my kind of fantasy. 5. The hardest thing was the 4th mission, but helped dictionaries. 6. loved the 3rd job and more to these, and translation of the song in English was complicated.

Во время выполнения заданий становилось все более и более интересней и увлекательней. 4. Я думаю лучше всего у меня получилось 2-е задание благодаря моей своеобразной фантазии. 5. Труднее всего было 4-е задание, но помогли словари. 6. очень понравилось 3-е задание и побольше бы таких, а как перевод песни на англ. был сложноват.
