“Ok” instead of “all correct”.

ßíî÷êà: Everyone uses the word “Ok”, but not everyone knows, what it means. As I’ve already read firstly, it meant “all correct”, and was written on approved government’s documents. But then president William Howard Taft (1909-1913), who was not clever at all, began to check documents by himself and to write without secretaries. Finally, “all correct” became “ok”, which now is used by everyone. And what similar exciting stories do you know?
